What weakens your faith
Of the weak and strong in faith
141 Accept the weak in faith and do not quarrel over opinions.
2The one believes he may eat anything; but he who is weak does not eat meat.
3The one who eats does not despise him who does not eat; and whoever does not eat do not judge him who eats; for God accepted him.
4Who are you to judge another servant? He stands or falls to his master. But he will stop; for the Lord can keep him upright.
5The one thinks one day is greater than the other; but the other considers all days to be the same. Everyone is certain of his opinion.
6The one who looks to the day does it with a look to the Lord; he who eats eats with a view to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat does not eat in view of the Lord and also thanks God.
7 Because none of our lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.
8If we live, we live to the Lord; if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore: if we live or die, we are of the Lord.
9For this is why Christ died and came alive again, so that he was Lord over the dead and the living.
10But you, what do you judge your brother? Or you, what do you despise your brother? We will all be put before the judgment seat of God.
11For it is written (Isaiah 45:23): "As surely as I live, says the Lord, all my knees shall bow to me, and all tongues shall confess God."
12So each one of us will now give an account of himself to God.
13Therefore let us no longer judge one another; rather, make your mind up so that no one offends or offends his brother.
14I know and am certain in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in oneself; it is unclean only to those who consider it unclean.
15If your brother is grieved because of your food, you will no longer act according to love. Do not by your food destroy him for whom Christ died.
What good things you have should not be blasphemed.
17 Because the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18Whoever serves Christ in them is pleasing to God and respected by men.
19Therefore let us strive for that which is for peace and for edification among one another.
20Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. It is true that everything is pure; but it is not good for those who eat it with a guilty conscience.
21It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that your brother may bother with.
22 Keep the faith that you have with yourself before God. Blessed is he who does not need to judge himself when he tests himself.
23But whoever doubts and yet eats will be judged, because it does not come from faith. But what does not come from faith is sin.
151But we who are strong should bear the inability of the weak and not take pleasure in ourselves.
2And each one of us live to please his neighbor for good and edification.
3For Christ too did not please himself, but as it is written (Psalm 69:10): "The abuse of those who revile you have fallen on me."
4For what was previously written is written to us for teaching, that through the patience and consolation of Scripture we may have hope.
5But the God of patience and consolation grant you that you may be in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus,
6that you agree with one Mouth praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7That's why Accept one another as Christ accepted you to praise God.
8For I say, Christ became a servant of the Jews for the sake of the truthfulness of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers;
9But the Gentiles shall praise God for mercy, as it is written (Psalm 18:50): "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles and sing your name."
10And again it says (Deuteronomy 32:43): "Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people!"
11And again (Psalm 117: 1): "Praise the Lord, all nations, and bless him, all peoples!"
12And again Isaiah saith (Isaiah 11:10): “The scion will come out of the root of Jesse, and will rise up to rule over the Gentiles; the heathen will hope for him. "
13But the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith that you will become richer and richer in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
