How can honey and lemon cure pimples

Natural home remedies for pimples

When the valley glands become clogged, become infected with bacteria, and become filled with pus, a large pimple develops. The skin reacts with the typical signs of inflammation. It turns red, swells and starts to hurt.

Excessive sebum production by the sebum glands is one of the most common causes of pimples. Poor diet, unhealthy habits, and hormonal changes stimulate sebum production and often cause constipation. But excessive cleaning, heat and constant pimple pressure also cause the sebum glands to overreact. The face, neck, back and shoulders in particular are very susceptible to this.

There are a lot of creams and medications available to treat pimples. Natural home remedies are usually faster and gentler.

lemon

Lemon works very well against single pimples. It has an antibacterial effect and prevents the growth and reproduction of pathogenic bacteria. Fresh lemon juice helps to dry out pimples faster and at the same time supports the repair of the skin.

Lemon for pimples: Soak a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and drizzle the pimples with it before going to bed.

To eliminate pimples in the long term, mix the juice of half a lemon with a glass of warm water every morning and drink on an empty stomach. The warm lemon juice has an alkaline effect, helps detoxify the body and restore the skin's pH value.

Note: Use only freshly squeezed lemon juice. Lemon juice from the bottle contains preservatives.

Do not use lemon on sensitive skin. Lemon can irritate sensitive skin.

baking powder

Baking soda helps regulate the pH of the skin and removes excess oil from the skin. It also acts as a natural exfoliant, helping to remove dirt and dead skin cells. Baking powder for pimples: Mix 1 teaspoon of baking powder with a little water or freshly squeezed lemon juice to a thick paste. Moisten the face a little and apply the paste to the affected area. Let dry for 3 minutes and wash off with warm water. Repeat the process 2 times a day.

Note: Do not leave baking soda on for more than 3 minutes as it can irritate the skin.

honey

Honey acts as a natural antibiotic. It protects against the spread of harmful bacteria, prevents infections and speeds up the healing process.

Honey against pimples: Dip a clean cotton swab in honey, dab on the affected area and let it work for half an hour. Then wash the skin with lukewarm water. Repeat the process several times a day.

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is very effective against pimples. Its antibacterial properties target bacteria that infect the skin and help dry out blackheads. Tea tree oil also has a calming effect, which works very well against the redness and swelling of the pimples.

Tea tree oil for pimples: drizzle a cotton ball with tea tree oil and dab the affected area with it. Wash off your face after 15 to 20 minutes.

Alternatively: Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and distribute it on pimples and blemishes. Let it work for 20 minutes and then rinse off.

Note: Do not use tea tree oil on sensitive skin.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory effects and promotes the healing process of the skin. It helps reduce the size, redness and soreness of the pimple while also providing the skin with sufficient moisture.

Aloe vera against pimples: Cut off a fresh aloe vera leaf, remove the gel from it and apply it to the pimple. Repeat the process several times a day.

In order to accelerate the healing process, Aloe VEera Gel can also be integrated into the diet. Above all, the gel enriches a homemade smoothie with valuable nutrients.

Note: With regular use, aloe vera helps reduce acne scars.

Coconut oil

The lauric acid and capric acid in coconut oil have an antimicrobial effect and help to remove germs from the skin. As a result, they protect against pore irritation and inhibit the multiplication of viruses and bacteria on the skin.

The vitamin E in coconut oil in turn helps soothe inflammatory pimples, and helps against skin irritation and acne scars.

Coconut oil for pimples: Simply rub a small amount of coconut oil on the pimple and let it work. Repeat several times a day.

steam bath

Steam baths open the pores and allow the skin to breathe better. Steam baths are particularly helpful for pimples. They rid the skin of dirt, excess oil and trapped bacteria in the skin's pores, which often lead to infection and inflammation of the skin.

Steam bath for pimples: fill a large bowl with hot water, hang a towel over the head and bowl (so that the steam cannot escape) and soak the face with the rising steam for 10 to 15 minutes. Then pat the face dry and, if necessary, spray with a little rose water and massage it in gently. (When used regularly, rose water helps shrink skin pores and neutralizes the skin's pH value.)

There are several home remedies that can be used to get rid of pimples quickly. If you also integrate more nutrient-rich foods into your diet and reduce sugar, alcohol and finished products, you can accelerate the healing process of the skin and prevent pimples permanently.
