Information about the TV series

Robin didn't have it easy as a child. At first she seems to have had a happy childhood with her mother Olvia, but they parted ways when Robin is around two years old. While she stays with her aunt on Ohara, her mother leaves the island in search of the poneglyphs.[3]

Not only because she is a self-broker who sticks her nose in books, but also because she eats the Hana Hana no Mi, she is an outsider in Ohara, who is teased again and again by the other children. At the age of eight she took her exam in archeology, but the joy did not last too long.[3]

When she finds the washed-up giant Jaguar D. Sauro on the beach, the chaos begins. Shortly afterwards, Robin's mother Olvia appears, who follows a special unit of the Navy under the command of Spandine, which is supposed to capture her and Sauro. But when Professor Clover speaks directly to the Gorōsei and wants to reveal the research results of the archaeologists, they order the buster call to be triggered, which Robin can only escape with the help of Sauro and Vice Admiral Kuzan. As the only survivor of the inferno, she will be on the run in the future, during which she will be betrayed again and again by others who give her shelter with the aim of collecting the sum of 79 million berries that has meanwhile been exposed on her head. She was even charged with the destruction of six naval ships, although this is due to Sauros, who is then caught by Kuzan.[3]

Information about the TV series

On her constant flight, she finally comes across Sir Crocodile, who already knows her ability to decipher the scriptures of the poneglyph and, thanks to his status as Shichibukai, offers her safe protection from the world government.[4]

She subsequently worked with him as his right hand under the code name Miss All Sunday[5] together to get information about the Pluton. Sir Crocodile's plan was to spark a revolution in the state of Arabasta and so depose the king of the country Cobra in order to have free access to the poneglyph on the island, in addition to the establishment of a state of Utopia.[6]

Four years after their agreement, the time has come, but the country's princess, Vivi den Two, and the Baroque Works have tracked down and join forces with Luffy and the Mugiwara gang to stop the organization's coup in their country.[7][8][6][4]

But the princess and her bodyguard Igaram, who originally accompanied them on their infiltration of the Baroque Works, would never have got that far had Robin not helped them. And that's how it can be found on the Going Merry and offers the gang an Eternal Port, which would send the gang on a route to Arabasta unknown to the Baroque Works. But Luffy is known to have a mind of his own and breaks the Eternal Port to make it clear that he is still in charge of the ship. Amused, Robin sets off again towards Arabasta, while the gang travels on to Littlegarden.[9]

In Arabasta, Sir Crocodile's plan almost works, even with the interference of the Mugiwara gang, but the gang, together with Peruh, prevents the bomb placed by the Baroque Works from exploding in the forecourt of the palace in Alubarna. In the meantime, Crocodile learns that Robin cannot keep her promise and that the poneglyph in the catacombs of Arlabasta, as she merely pretends, does not provide the promised information about the Pluton. He wounds her badly, and so she is passed out when Luffy ultimately defeats Sir Crocodile. After regaining consciousness, she gives the also present King Kobra the antidote for Luffy, who is poisoned by Crocodile, and after a conversation with the king in which she tries to explain herself, Luffy finally manages to get her and the king out of the collapsing catacombs .[10][11]

Information about the TV series

After Luffy and his gang caused the downfall of the Baroque Works, the former vice boss sneaks back on board the Going Merry and escapes Arabasta with them unnoticed by the gang. Since she feels obliged to Luffy, she offers to join his gang. Since he thinks she is all right, she is allowed to stay, and shortly afterwards she has all but Zoro with her entertaining devil powers and Sir Crocodile's jewels wrapped around her little finger.[12][13][11]

Soon after, she stumbles into her first adventure together with the gang as the crew of the Going Merry St. Bliss, falling from the sky, almost falls on its head and NamisLogpose suddenly points to the sky.[11] Together with Chopper, she examines a skull bone that says in the ship's logbook that the ship is around 200 years old, while Luffy finds a map of Skypiea in the wreck.[14]

When the gang arrives in Jaya to look for clues on how to get to Skypiea, Robin learns on their own little exploration tour that there is a hermit on the side of the island away from Mock Town by the name of Montblanc Cricket who will help them out could while Luffy and Zoro get beaten up by Bellamy in a bar and also brings a map of the island with them.[15] Her skills come in handy once again when Luffy and his gang search the Jaya Forest for a Southbird, which they later rebuild with the Going Merry Steer south of Jaya into a knock up stream and get into the Hakukai.
