How does Amazon implement email marketing

Amazon Attribution

Amazon Attribution (Beta)

With Amazon Attribution For the first time, there is a beta solution for brands that can be used to measure the impact of marketing measures outside of the Amazon Marketplace. For the time being, the beta is only available to vendors in the UK and US. Specifically, it can now be tracked what influence other activities, such as search ads (e.g. PPC), social media ads, display ads (e.g. via programmatic advertising), video ads or email marketing have on sales on Amazon.

The main features of Amazon Attribution:

  • Measurement: Insight into the effectiveness of various advertising channels in relation to sales
  • Optimization: Through the On-demand attribution reporting can be analyzed on demand which audience strategy best increases the performance of the campaigns. Optimizations can thus be made to ongoing campaigns.
  • Planning: Based on the performance values, future marketing strategies can be planned that further increase the ROI.

The Amazon Attribution Report can be used to measure the following metrics

  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Detail Page Views, DPV for short (calls to the product detail page)
  • Add to carts
  • Sales

The reports can be displayed in the dashboard or downloaded.
