  1. Eating in the dark

Now try the different spices alternately with your fellow players and try to find the matching bowls.

    Blindfolded, listen to various noises and try to identify the source of the noise. You can proceed in a similar way with music or orchestral recordings. The aim here should be to identify the various instruments as clearly as possible.

  5. Conscious walking barefoot

    One of the easiest exercises is walking barefoot. To start with, it may be enough to concentrate on walking through a quiet room in your apartment and consciously feel the ground with the soles of your feet. With some practice - and nice weather - you can continue your workout outside on grass, stones or special barefoot trails. You also train your balance, especially if you walk with your eyes closed.

  6. Feeling and touch puzzles

    Try to feel different objects with your eyes blindfolded. If you do this exercise with several people, you can turn it into a kind of competition and note who correctly recognizes most of the objects. In this way you train your sense of touch in a playful way.

  7. Relaxation through feeling

    If you carry a few stones made of different materials with you, you can train your sense of touch in everyday life and switch off at the same time. Whenever you need a break or want to clear your head, put the stones in your pocket, close your eyes and concentrate fully on feeling the stones.     The following exercise is best done in a group. Look closely and intensely at another group member for a minute.   9. Conscious coffee or tea enjoyment

    Do you start your day with a cup of coffee or tea? Then take the opportunity to train your perception: drink it with your eyes closed, keep coffee or tea in your mouth for a while and let the aromas take effect.   10. Perception through mental training

    Researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) have found that mental training can also sharpen the senses and improve perception.
