How is the development of Twitter in 2021? Again pretty good and the positive trend from last year continues. The current Twitter statistics for the first quarter of 2021 once again show a clearly positive development in the development of Twitter user numbers. The record sales of over $ 1 billion from the fourth quarter of 2019 were exceeded again and stand at $ 1.036 billion, which is not a new high. This was reached at just under $ 1.3 billion at the end of 2020.
When it comes to the number of Twitter users, the focus is on the daily active and monetizable users. You know the so-called mDAUs from Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
With 199 million daily active users, Twitter continues to grow and grew by 17% year-on-year.
Twitter is thus continuing its positive development, listening to its users and trying to establish new functions such as Twitter Spaces, Twitter Topics, Audio Tweets, Twitter Fleets (Twitter Stories), the targeted display of tweets and Twitter Spaces. Of course, Twitter is also becoming more and more complex and diverse.
