The Blu-Ray was developed as the high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a considerably higher data rate and storage capacity than its predecessor. Films with a significantly better resolution can therefore be saved on Blu-Rays and offer extremely high image quality on corresponding screens. Blu-ray players are usually backwards compatible with DVDs so that they can also be played.

Two rival gangster clans fight for supremacy in Wasseypur: Shahid Khan was the first to venture into the 1940s to plunder British trains. With this he stands against his worst adversary, Ramadhir Singh, who has undivided power over Wasseypur. When Shahid is killed, his son Sardar vows to restore his father's honor - by becoming the most feared man in all of Wasseypur. Finally, Sadar's son, Faizal, is drawn into the power struggle between the two families. Inspired by the heroes of Bollywood, he relentlessly fights Ramadhir in order to finally emerge victorious from the never-ending dispute that has spread over half a century.
